Nordic Hotel Forum

December is a time when we look back at the year that is about to end and make plans for the next one. It is also the month of Christmas, the time we spend with those who are important to us.
This is why we invite you to Nordic Hotel Forum in the last month of the year, so you can enjoy our hospitality in the company of your loved ones or colleagues.
Enjoy the holiday season!

Give your team something good for Christmas

Christmas is a time of giving gifts. Finding the right gift is not easy, because what would be the right thing to give?
Instead of things, you could give good emotions. One option is to give your team an unforgettable meal in our hotel’s restaurant Monaco, such as the excellent three-course Christmas lunch or dinner, which our chef Oleg Alasi has prepared especially for the holiday season. The price of the three-course Christmas menu is €29 per person.

However, that’s not all. In addition to delicious food and a great atmosphere, we also give everyone in your team a pass to our Relaxation Centre. You can warm yourself in the sauna and refresh yourself in the swimming pool, which will help you forget about the cold and dark winter, and give you strength to greet the new year in a good mood.

If you feel that this is the best gift for your team (of at least six people), then call us on 622 2999 and we can agree on everything.
15th birthday concerts of the Nordic Symphony Orchestra in Tallinn

The Nordic Symphony Orchestra, which is conducted by Anu Tali, will perform in Tallinn once again at the start of December. This international orchestra, which consists of professional musicians from ten countries and whose goal is to promote Estonian music and culture in the world, will celebrate its 15th birthday with concerts in Tallinn. They will take place on the 6th and 7th of December in Estonia Concert Hall. The orchestra will perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 and Mahler’s 5th Symphony. The conductor is Anu Tali and the soloist is Sergei Dogadin from Russia.

We congratulate the Nordic Symphony Orchestra on its 15th birthday and thank them for their cooperation. We will continue helping to give citizens of and visitors to Tallinn the chance to enjoy quality Nordic music.
We rewarded the best youngster!

Good service is important. That’s why the Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association once again gave grants to 11 of the best hotel and catering students in order to popularise the specialty of the service economy and improve skills in the area of accommodation and catering.

Our good service has been praised by our guests as well as independent experts. That’s why, in addition to our activity in the Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association, we also support our future colleagues with the Nordic Hotel Forum grant.

This year we gave the grant to Triin Vaher, who completed her traineeship at our hotel and is now a good colleague of ours while she continues her studies at Tallinn School of Service.
Congratulations!
Unique Robbie Williams concert in Tallinn

Tallinn’s Song Festival Grounds represent one of the most unique sights in the city.  In addition to the song festivals that take place every four years and bring all Estonians together, the grounds have also hosted concerts by many world-famous stars from Madonna to the Rolling Stones.
The most successful British solo artist, Robbie Williams, who made a highly successful comeback this year, will perform at the Song Festival Grounds on the 20th of August 2013. The concert in Tallinn is part of Robbie’s ‘Take the Crown’ Stadium Tour 2013, and it is special because Tallinn is the only city in the region where people will be able to see this super show next summer. He will not be performing in Stockholm or Helsinki, or Riga or Vilnius, but only at the Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn.
If you haven’t decided yet whether you will come to Tallinn next summer, then the 20th of August would be a good day to do so! However, you will probably not be the only people planning to visit Tallinn on that day, so if you want a convenient place to stay in the city centre – just a 15-minute walk from the Song Festival Grounds – then book a room in our hotel before it’s too late!
We support the Scuderia Nordica formula team

Although Estonia has not produced any Formula 1 champions yet, we do our bit to ensure that this will happen one day. That’s why we have entered into a five-year sponsorship agreement with the Scuderia Nordica formula team.

This home-grown team was established by experienced formula technicians to help promising racing drivers become future champions. The drivers from Scuderia Nordica have won several prizes in different classes during the team’s activities. The team has been focussing on the Formula Renault class since 2007, where they have won many prizes and where Tõnu Vanaselja won the Austrian Championships in 2009.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for the team and hope that our contribution will help ensure that the hottest new driver in the world of formula racing comes from Estonia!
